The MIS and Buildings teams monitor power consumption in the museum's data center. The two main systems are the Liebert cooling unit and the uninterruptable power supply (UPS), which provides power and battery backup to our servers. The chart above shows the daily consumption for these devices for the current month, while the value reported on the dashboard is the average daily value for the previous month.

DESCRIPTION
The IMA is the first museum to become an ENERGY STAR partner for its efforts to be more environmentally responsible.

EXPLANATION
ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, which recognizes products and businesses for utilizing energy efficient products and practices.
