DESCRIPTION
The IMA is committed to producing digital images of its collection for use on the Web and in a variety of projects. The documentation of our collection is a critical component of the Photography Services Department, which consistently strives to provide visual access to the works of art at the IMA.
EXPLANATION
The Photography Services Department creates, manages, and edits photography of the collection to be utilized for publication, scholarly research, and historic record. Once images are capturerd and edited, they are uploaded to the digital asset management system. The aggregate sum of images uploaded is reported to the dashboard by a representative of the Photography Services Department on a monthly basis.
