Welcome to IMA Dashboard, an ongoing effort to measure various aspects of the Museum's performance. We welcome your comments on our progress in serving the IMA's mission. To navigate the Dashboard in particular areas, the tabs at the top of the screen drop down to allow for more detail. The goal of the Dashboard is to seek to quantify and report out on areas of activity of general interest to museum observers and to particular interest to museum studies specialists, colleagues, and patrons.

3rd Graders

The percentage of 3rd graders from the Indianapolis Public School system who have visited the IMA this year.

The Viewfinders program is an IMA initiative currently active in many IPS and Washington Township classrooms. Viewfinders gives children a chance to experience art, share their ideas, build new perspectives and learn to disagree respectfully. Students then visit the IMA with their class to exercise their new skills in front of genuine works of art.

Since January 1, 2007, the IMA has hosted 2,175 3rd grade students from IPS out of a total of 3,000 enrolled students.
