DESCRIPTION
This is the number of requests via phone, email, fax, or letter to the Photography Services Department for permission to use images for scholarly or commercial uses, as well as requests from IMA colleagues to fulfill project, publication, and programming requirements.

The Rights and Reproductions Coordinator of the IMA manages public requests for images of the works from its permanent collection.

The sum of requests is reported to the dashboard by a representative of the Photography Services Department on a monthly basis.

DESCRIPTION
Membership is a critical function of our mission that dates back to the year we were founded--1883.
Fun fact: In 1883, you could join the IMA for $10 ($200 in today's economy). For non members, general admission was free and special exhibition admission was 10 cents ($2 today).

EXPLANATION
Members are asked to present their membership card at the ticket counter upon arrival to the Museum. This figure is the total number of cards presented by members, divided by the total attendance count to date. The data is reported to the dashboard by the IMA’s Membership Manager.
